1.3 We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time by posting a revised version on the Website. Your continued use of the Website after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to check this page periodically.
1.4 The Website is not intended for use by minors. If you have not reached the legal age of majority, please do not use the Website or submit any personal data to us.
2. Personal Data We Collect
“Personal Data” means data about an individual who can be identified from that data, whether alone or combined with other information we have access to.
2.1 Information you provide directly, such as:
- your name, email address, phone number, and other contact details;
- for Agents: your account details, agency/licence information, and listing content (including photos and videos);
- for public users: information you submit through an Enquiry form (e.g. name, contact details, message content);
- payment information when Agents pay for listings or subscriptions;
- any other information you choose to submit through account registration, customer support, or other interactions with us.
2.2 Information collected automatically, such as:
- device and browser information, IP address, and browsing behaviour on the Website;
- cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Clause 6).
2.3 If you provide personal data about a third party (for example, sharing a listing with a friend, or an Agent submitting a co-agent’s contact details), you confirm that you have obtained that person’s consent for you to share their data with us for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
3. How We Use Your Personal Data
We collect, use, and disclose personal data for the following purposes:
3.1 For all Users:
- operating, maintaining, and improving the Website;
- verifying your identity and administering your account;
- responding to enquiries, feedback, or support requests;
- sending administrative or transactional communications (e.g. account notices, listing expiry reminders);
- complying with legal obligations and responding to requests from government or law enforcement authorities;
- protecting our rights, property, and the safety of our Users and the Website;
- in connection with any business transaction involving OrhProp (e.g. a sale, merger, or asset transfer).
3.2 For Agents specifically:
- enabling you to register, verify your account, and post and manage Listings;
- processing payments for Listings, subscriptions, or plans;
- facilitating the delivery of Enquiries from public users to you;
- communicating with you about your account, fees, or Listings.
3.3 For public Users specifically:
- forwarding your Enquiry (including your name, contact details, and message) to the relevant Agent so they can respond to you directly;
- sending you marketing communications, where you have consented to receive them.
3.4 We will only use your personal data for other purposes if we notify you at the time of collection, or where permitted by the PDPA without requiring further consent.
4. Disclosure of Personal Data
4.1 To Agents (core platform function): When you submit an Enquiry about a Listing, we disclose your name, contact details, and message content to the relevant Agent so they can respond to you — typically by phone, WhatsApp, or email. Your Enquiry may be viewed only by the Agent(s) associated with that Listing.
4.2 OrhProp is not responsible for what happens to your personal data once it has been disclosed to an Agent. Once an Agent receives your Enquiry, any further communication (including via WhatsApp or other channels) is between you and the Agent directly, and is governed by the Agent’s own practices, not this Privacy Policy. We encourage you to exercise discretion when sharing personal information directly with any Agent.
4.3 To service providers: We may share personal data with third parties who provide services on our behalf, such as web hosting, payment processing, IT support, and analytics providers. These providers are only permitted to use your data to provide services to us.
4.4 For legal and safety reasons: We may disclose personal data to comply with a legal obligation, enforce our Terms & Conditions, protect our rights or the safety of our Users, or in connection with a business asset transaction.
4.5 We will not disclose your personal data to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes without your consent.
5. Data Accuracy and Security
5.1 You are responsible for ensuring that personal data you submit to us is accurate, complete, and up to date. We are not responsible for consequences arising from outdated or inaccurate information you have not updated.
5.2 We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse, or unauthorised access. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5.3 If we provide you with a password to access your account, you are responsible for keeping it confidential. We will never ask you for your password other than at login.
6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
6.1 We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Website, remember your preferences, and understand how the Website is used.
6.2 Advertising. We currently do not display third-party advertisements on the Website, but may do so in the future as we grow. If and when we introduce advertising, we (and our advertising partners) may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver and measure advertisements, including ads tailored to your interests based on your browsing activity. We will update this Privacy Policy accordingly before any such advertising goes live, and where required by law, will provide you with the ability to manage your cookie preferences or opt out of interest-based advertising.
6.3 You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. Please note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Website.
7. International Data Transfers
7.1 Your personal data may be stored and processed on servers located outside Singapore (for example, where our hosting or service providers operate overseas). Where we transfer personal data outside Singapore, we will take reasonable steps to ensure it receives a standard of protection comparable to that under the PDPA.
8. Third-Party Websites and Links
8.1 The Website may contain links to third-party websites (including Agents’ own websites or social media pages). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. Please review their privacy policies before submitting any personal data to them.
9. Your Rights: Access, Correction, and Withdrawal of Consent
9.1 You may request access to, or correction of, the personal data we hold about you, or withdraw your consent for us to collect, use, or disclose your personal data, by contacting us (see Clause 11).
9.2 If you withdraw your consent, we may not be able to continue providing certain parts of the Website or Services to you, and this may result in the termination of your account. We will inform you of the likely consequences before acting on your withdrawal request.
9.3 We will respond to your request within a reasonable time, and in any event within the timeframe required under the PDPA. We may refuse certain requests where permitted under the PDPA (for example, where data is subject to legal privilege or would reveal another person’s personal data).
10. Retention of Personal Data
10.1 We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. After that, we will take reasonable steps to destroy, delete, or anonymise it.

12.1 This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore.
13. Disclaimer
13.1 We are not responsible for personal data you voluntarily disclose to other Users (including Agents) in connection with your use of the Website, including any information shared over WhatsApp or other channels after an initial Enquiry.
